AFSCME SEIU Florida PAC Sends Direct Mail Pieces to Drive Members to Participate in Early Vote

Miami, FL — Representing more than 6,000 workers in Senate District 40, AFSCME Florida and SEIU Florida have been running an aggressive joint program to help elect Annette Taddeo to the State Senate.

Over the last few days AFSCME SEIU Florida PAC sent two pieces of direct mail to this unique universe of highly motivated voters to reinforce the issues being brought up through one-on-one conversations at the door and over the phone.

“Intro” explains to workers why the two unions have united in their endorsement and grassroots activity on behalf of Taddeo’s campaign, one that is focused on strengthening and amplifying the voices of working Floridians in the state senate.

“Meet Annette” shared the candidate’s background, how she has proudly stood on the side of workers in the past and her continued opposition to union-busting legislation, including the union-busting HB11 that her opponent voted for.

Both pieces are in English and Spanish and drive people to participate in Early Vote before the 24th or to vote on Election Day itself.
