New Agreement

Tentative Agreement Highlights:
Compensation
- October 1, 2023 pay increase already approved
- Stand By pay of time and a half (1 1⁄2) with a minimum of two hours pay Special
- Overtime pay of time and a half or $30 per hour, whichever is greater Revised termination leave payouts
Security
- New No Discrimination/Sexual Harassment Language
- Rights Strengthened in revised union recognition language
- Protection extended by probationary time shortened from one (1) year to six (6) months
Fairness
- Defined time for disciplinary investigations
- Verbal reprimands valid one (1) year instead of three (3) years
- Other discipline valid two (2) years instead of three (3) years. Defined grievance filing processes (Union and PERC)
Benefits
- Increased PTO accrual from 16 hours to 18 hours per month
- Added Juneteenth as a holiday
