This year, the Florida Legislature passed SB 256. This legislation is going to greatly impact public sector unions like ours. This law has made it much harder for workers to achieve the respect, compensation and dignity we deserve.

If at least 60% of us are not signed up as members, our contract could disappear. Or we can stand up, sign an AFSCME membership card, get our coworkers to sign their cards and protect our right to bargain for the pay, benefits and protections we need.
