AFSCME Florida Administrator James Spears, Jr. released the following statement:
“This victory recaps a strong year for AFSCME members across Florida. No matter what tricks and traps were put in front of them, time and time again they made clear that they serve our communities best when they have a protected voice, a strong contract and the support of their coworkers no matter what. We look forward to continuing to win these critical elections, so the citizens of Florida continue to get the quality public services they deserve.”
