Today, the hardworking men and women in Hallandale Beach voted to recertify their voice on the job following a mail-ballot election. They voted 97% in favor of retaining their seat at the table to speak up for the needs of the citizens they serve.

AFSCME Florida Administrator James Spears, Jr. released the following statement:

“We are proud of the strength that AFSCME Local 3535 continues to have on the job. This has allowed the public service workers who make Dania Beach happen to speak up on behalf of the taxpayers they serve, to ensure they have safe working conditions and so much more. That is why we see such overwhelming support, again, for continuing to have that voice through AFSCME.”
