Contract Ratification Locations, Tuesday, June 27

AFSCME 1363 will be ratifying our tentative agreement on Tuesday, June 27 at the following ratification sites. 

Contract Ratification Locations

Ratification voting is open to all members of the bargaining unit regardless of membership in AFSCME and all members are eligible to vote. A copy of the proposed CBA will be available at the locations for review. Scroll down on this page for the highlights.

Tentative Agreement Highlights

8% Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA): Upon ratification, all members will receive an 8% increase in salary for the first year of the contract. The second and third years will have reopeners to advocate for additional increases.

Incentive To Work Major Holidays: You will earn two hours of AD time to be paid out the next pay period after Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years if you work those holidays. In short, members who work those holidays will receive an additional two hours pay.  

Longevity:

Bonus: For dedicated years of service, members will receive a one-time bonus:

  • 5-10 years: $1,000 bonus

  • 11-15 years: $1,500 bonus

  • 15 plus years: Additional 1% added to your Longevity Bonus yearly payout; cap raised by1%

Members will reach the last two longevity steps two years sooner.

Extended Illness Bank Unfrozen: Those with the health system prior to 2011 will finally be able to cash out those hours.

Weekend Differential Increased: Will be $2.00 now, up from $0.25  

Float Pay: Increased to $2.00  

Training Pay: Will now be given the first day of training instead of having to train three days in a row to receive.
